Job summary

The Siegel Group seeks a Maintenance Level 1 technician to perform daily maintenance on units and handle work orders at our property. You will also complete monthly preventative maintenance and help ensure timely turnover.

You will supervise maintenance assistants, coordinate with the property manager and vendors, and verify rooms are ready for rent, with on-call support for tenant emergencies.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certification required.
• 5+ years as a maintenance engineer.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Own maintenance tools and safe work practices.
• Legal work eligibility in State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily unit maintenance and respond to work orders.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance.
• Supervise and train maintenance assistants.
• Coordinate with the property manager and vendors to ensure timely services.
• Verify room readiness for occupancy and on-call emergencies.
• Keep OSHA compliance in the shop and work areas.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure proper safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
