Job summary

The Siegel Group seeks a Maintenance Level 1 technician for the Cincinnati area, responsible for daily unit turns, work orders, and monthly preventative maintenance as directed by the Property Manager.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of apartment maintenance disciplines, supervision experience, and own tools. The role requires on-site duties and coordination with vendors and staff.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical certifications are required.
• 5+ years of experience as a maintenance engineer.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Own maintenance tools.
• Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Have working knowledge of apartment maintenance: plumbing, electrical, carpet cleaning/repair, drywall repair, carpentry, glass repair, appliances, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and concrete/tile.
• Perform work orders promptly to promote customer satisfaction.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance on all units.
• Supervise and train maintenance assistants and improve turnover times.
• Coordinate with the property manager to ensure timely vendor services.
