Job summary

Sika Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join its Canton, MA team supporting the roofing business. The role manages maintenance staff, coordinates projects, and ensures smooth operation of production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, handle payroll for the maintenance team, and collaborate with production to meet safety and efficiency goals while maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising shift maintenance staff and handling disciplinary actions.
• Payroll management experience for maintenance employees.
• Experience coordinating external contractors.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping capabilities.
• Proficient with Windows-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift maintenance staff including coaching, training, evaluation and disciplinary functions.
• Manage payroll for all maintenance employees.
• Assist in managing outside contractors.
• Ensure efficient operation of production machinery and coordinate maintenance projects.
• Handle general facility and manufacturing maintenance.
• Lubrication and preventive maintenance of heavy production machinery.
• Repair/ replacement of bearings, gears, belts and conveyors.
