Job summary

Sika Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join its Canton, MA team for its roofing business. The role will oversee shift maintenance staff, manage payroll, and coordinate external contractors to ensure the smooth operation of production lines.

The successful candidate will lead maintenance and engineering collaboration, maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise shift maintenance staff and provide coaching, training, evaluation and disciplinary functions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Application Software.
• Ability to team with production management to achieve common goals.

Sika Corporation is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join it's growing team in the Canton, MA area for its roofing business. The maintenance supervisor will handle general facility maintenance and supports the manufacturing process. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager

• Supervise shift maintenance staff including coaching, training, evaluation and disciplinary functions.
• Manage payroll for all maintenance employees.
• Assist in managing outside contractors.
• Key member of a team that is responsible to ensure efficient operation of production machinery.
• Coordinate all maintenance projects.
• Handle general facility maintenance.
• General office and manufacturing maintenance
• Lubrication / oil changing of heavy production machinery
• Repair / replace bearings, gear-heads, belts, chains, conveyors, filters, etc.
• Modify existing structural components to comply with safety regulations, cost savings measures as required

• Ability to team with production management to achieve common goals
• Develop a strong team between maintenance/engineering and production
• Excellent organizational capabilities with good record keeping skills
• Basic knowledge of Windows Application Software
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
