Job summary

Sika Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join its Canton, MA roofing operations. You will supervise shift maintenance staff, coordinate maintenance projects, and support the manufacturing process to ensure continuous production.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires strong organizational skills, teamwork, and a hands-on approach to maintaining equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to team with production management to achieve common goals.
• Develop a strong team between maintenance/engineering and production.
• Excellent organizational capabilities with good record keeping skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Application Software.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift maintenance staff including coaching, training, evaluation and disciplinary functions.
• Manage payroll for all maintenance employees.
• Assist in managing outside contractors.
• Key member of a team that is responsible to ensure efficient operation of production machinery.
• Coordinate all maintenance projects.
• Handle general facility maintenance.
• Lubrication / oil changing of heavy production machinery
• Modify existing structural components to comply with safety regulations, cost savings measures as required

Job Description

The maintenance supervisor will handle general facility maintenance and supports the manufacturing process. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager
