We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor & Manufacturing Engineer to lead maintenance operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing processes. This dual-role position is ideal for a strong leader with technical expertise in manufacturing engineering and equipment maintenance, capable of fostering a lean culture, solving complex problems, and driving productivity and safety initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, guide, and work hands-on with the maintenance team to reduce downtime and address safety concerns.
Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
Lead safety improvement projects and ensure compliance with safety protocols and corrective actions.
Train operators and maintenance staff on new or updated processes and equipment.
Ensure proper documentation for equipment, procedures, and safety standards (e.g., LOTO).
Support and lead cross-functional initiatives including lean manufacturing, KPI tracking, and product launch readiness.
Specify, source, and support installation of new tools and machinery.
Oversee process validation, equipment commissioning, and readiness for production changes.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors for technical projects and equipment upgrades.
Analyze and optimize processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality control.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
Familiarity with MS Office applications
Experience managing installation and upgrades of process and assembly equipment
Background in tooling, fixture, and equipment design
Project management experience
Exposure to agile product development
Understanding of PLCs, drives, HMIs (Allen Bradley preferred)
Experience in web handling, roll-to-roll web coating, or textile manufacturing
Proficiency in MS Project
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Proactive self-starter with a focus on continuous improvement
Effective communicator at all levels of the organization
