Job summary

CRM Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and vacancy readiness across our properties. You will supervise maintenance technicians, manage work orders, and coordinate with the Community Manager on emergencies and on-call coverage.

A strong background in building trades and on-site supervision is required. The role offers a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm) with on-call duties, a competitive hourly rate of $35-$38 plus a live-in unit,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3–4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience with boilers or appliance repair preferred; must have strong oral and written communication.
• Maintains current license/certificate and/or skills in building trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection or mechanical).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• On-call nights and weekends as required; full-time schedule 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Implement and supervise preventive maintenance; oversee repairs and re-rental preparation.
• Provide coverage for emergencies and coordinate absences with Community Manager.
• Inspect buildings and grounds; report deficiencies.
• Supervise maintenance staff and provide guidance.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and logs.
• Maintain project vehicle and inventory; manage supplies.
• Assist in budget preparation and bid specs; coordinate inspections.
