Job summary

Universal Stainless in Dunkirk, NY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a heavy industrial setting. You will prepare schedules, oversee technicians, and coordinate with operations to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years of industrial experience, a degree in engineering preferred, and strong analytical skills. You will manage CMMS data, plan PMs, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience in maintenance planning in steel industry preferred.
• AS or BS in Engineering preferred but not required.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and lead change.
• PLC code troubleshooting and creation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Maintenance Technicians, Machinist, Electricians.
• Plan and prepare preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Analyze maintenance data and equipment failure trends.
• Lead continuous improvement to improve uptime.
• Manage MRO inventory through CMMS.
• Coordinate with operations and meet project status.
• Oversee PM, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
