Maintenance Supervisor – Specialty Metals Manufacturer

Salary: Up to $90,000 annually

A leading specialty metals manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations in a high-performance production environment. This facility produces precision alloys and specialty steel products used in aerospace, energy, and industrial applications.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor partners with Operations to schedule and execute maintenance work that supports safe, reliable, and cost-effective production.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexibility for plant needs)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance personnel across shifts.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage parts ordering, inventory, and contractor coordination.
• Perform and document root cause analysis to reduce downtime.
• Support infrastructure projects involving power, utilities, and distribution systems.
• Provide data and input for capital expenditure and reliability planning.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; AS/BS in Engineering preferred
• 5+ years of front-line maintenance leadership in manufacturing or heavy industry
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting background
• Experience with high-voltage distribution systems; PLC/drives/controls experience a plus
• Skilled communicator and problem-solver with proven organizational ability
