Job summary

Stimson Lumber Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance program at our Forest Grove, Oregon facility. You will manage a skilled team and drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance efforts to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will partner across departments with Mill leadership, supervise a diverse team, and lead improvement and capital projects, including cost analyses and equipment specifications.

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance supervisory experience required.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with CMMS, AutoCAD, and reading blueprints.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and scheduling skills.
• Safety-first mindset with proven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance work meets safety standards.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
• Supervise Millwrights, Electricians, Mechanics, PM Technicians, PLC Technicians.
• Develop team through training and succession planning.
• Participate in Mill leadership, support safety initiatives and improvement.
• Lead improvement and capital projects with cost analysis and installation planning.
• Coordinate with vendors to maximize service levels and value.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs: safety, PM completion, downtime, overtime, expenses, upkeep.
