Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team, manage work orders, and uphold high standards of property care.

You will oversee daily maintenance operations, coordinate with vendors, and ensure move-in readiness while maintaining safety and quality across all systems. A strong background in apartment maintenance and leadership is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical). Prior supervisory or lead technician experience strongly preferred.
• EPA certification, CPO preferred; driver’s license required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise daily maintenance team activities with accountability.
• Foster a team culture aligned with the company values of kindness, connection, and service.
• Oversee vendor partners to ensure timely, safe, and quality work.
• Manage capital improvement projects from bids through execution.
• Identify and resolve service needs across the community.
• Maintain quarterly preventive maintenance programs to protect assets.
• Ensure HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems function optimally.
