Job summary

Conifer Realty LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its Affordable Housing communities in Woolwich Township, NJ. You will lead a hands-on maintenance team, supervise repairs, and ensure safety and resident satisfaction while coordinating with the Community Manager on budgets and inspections.

The role requires HVAC certification, 5+ years in residential maintenance, and strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience and leadership.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and safety compliance.
• Experience budgeting, managing vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
• Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.
