Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Terrell, Texas, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in extrusion and anodizing operations.

You will drive proactive maintenance, manage breakdowns, mentor staff, and advance continuous improvement while aligning with health and safety standards. This role also requires flexibility to work weekends as needed, with opportunities for growth within a global manufacturing leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance supervisor or management in a manufacturing environment; extrusion and anodizing experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, identify improvement opportunities, and successfully implement change.
• Hands‑on industrial experience maintaining and repairing production equipment, including the installation, testing, and repair of electrical motors and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems.
• Proficiency with industrial electrical and electronic control systems; familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) methodologies is highly desirable.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maintenance team and deliver both reactive and proactive multi‑skilled maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment, including total preventative maintenance and breakdown management.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of maintenance work while improving site operational effectiveness, project delivery, mean time between failure (MTBF), and overall downtime reduction.
• Implement and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that support operational goals and ensure adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Drive technical excellence by supporting continuous improvement efforts, enforcing standard policies, procedures, and maintenance processes, while identifying deficiencies and recommending improvements.
• Mentor and guide team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles through enhanced training, work practices, and process optimization.
