Job summary

JVIS USA, located in Benton Harbor, MI, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance department, ensure equipment is safely operated, and maximize up-time by directing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across all machines.

You will supervise maintenance technicians, plan preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic/mechanical/PLC problems, coordinate parts and repairs, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality to meet manufacturing

Qualifications

Demonstrate above-average leadership and excellent people skills.
Minimum four years of prior manufacturing experience preferred.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and programmable controller problems.
Experience in operating various machining equipment.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance technicians and supervise maintenance staff.
Plan and execute preventative/predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and tools.
Monitor downtime and establish priorities to maximize equipment up-time.
Ensure equipment is inspected for safe operating conditions and OSHA compliance.
Lead troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, robotics, and PLC issues.
Coordinate repairs with minimal disruption to production and manage work orders.
