Job summary

Panasonic Energy seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-disciplinary maintenance team in a high-volume environment. You will coordinate schedules, oversee preventative maintenance, and drive safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes staffing, training, performance reviews, and Lean Six Sigma-driven improvements while maintaining strong communication with management and support functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing/operations experience with people management.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and reading blueprints.
• Experience with CAD and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement mindset.
• Lean Six Sigma and 6S principles familiarity.
• Must communicate effectively in English and work cross-disciplinarily.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance team to meet starts and transfers.
• Hire, train, develop, motivate and drive accountability.
• Ensure personnel are trained/certified for tasks and monitor safety.
• Manage overtime, performance reviews, and career development plans.
• Coordinate material flow, quality, and maintenance support requirements.
• Drive FTQ and operational excellence through lean projects.
• Collaborate across shifts to standardize manufacturing practices.
