Job summary

Nielson Construction is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance of completed homes and rental properties. You will supervise the Residential Maintenance Technician and Property Maintenance Team, manage schedules, quality, and safety, and ensure work is completed on time and to standard.

You will collaborate with Construction Operations and Sales to align maintenance priorities with business goals, while upholding preventative maintenance and finished-home responsibilities

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction or property maintenance with supervisory or lead roles.
• Strong leadership, coaching, scheduling, and accountability skills.
• Good knowledge of residential home systems, maintenance practices, and repairs.
• Attention to detail and ability to improve processes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and supervision to the Finished Homes Maintenance Technician and Property Maintenance Team.
• Set expectations for quality, safety, productivity, documentation, and presentation.
• Coach and train staff to improve skills, inspections, efficiency, and consistency.
• Develop and manage daily/weekly preventive maintenance and repair schedules.
• Prioritize work by urgency, property condition, and operational needs; coordinate resources.
• Ensure homes are ready, safe, and show-ready; monitor deficiencies and quality.
