Fairfield Residential in San Diego is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team keeping our communities safe, beautiful, and fully operational. This role blends hands-on maintenance with leadership to ensure resident satisfaction and property preservation.

You will oversee repairs, manage preventive maintenance, handle service requests in Yardi, and ensure safety compliance while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
• 3+ years hands-on maintenance experience in apartments or buildings.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Yardi or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repair.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property.
• Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Manage service requests using Yardi or similar software.
• Maintain budgets and inventory for maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
• Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team.
• Provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
