Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, manage budgets, and ensure move-in ready units across our communities. You will oversee trades, vendor partners, and preventative programs to uphold Hawthorne’s quality standards.

The role requires hands-on supervision, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to exceptional resident service, with on-call duties and opportunities for career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical).
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise daily maintenance team work, ensuring high performance.
• Oversee vendor partners and ensure timely, safe work to company standards.
• Manage capital projects: bids, scheduling, execution.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs for buildings and equipment.
• Inspect vacant units for cleanliness and readiness prior to move-in.
• Respond to service requests promptly and safely in accordance with OSHA and policy.
