Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate all plant maintenance activities and lead a team of technicians on site in Kentucky. The role requires directing repairs, overseeing preventative maintenance, and promoting a safety-first culture in a GMP/SQF environment.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent experience (5+ years) and strong PLC, SAP, and MS Office skills. Weekend work may be required; relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5+ years related experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reports.
• Ability to train and develop a 15-person maintenance staff.
• Experience diagnosing basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC problems.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
• Some weekend work required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance technicians to ensure reliable equipment performance.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and repairs of plant equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance policies and procedures with the Maintenance Manager.
• Minimize downtime by quickly assessing problems and directing repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in line with SQF and GMP.
