Job summary

C.H. Guenther is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct maintenance crews across plant, facilities, utilities and powerhouse equipment.

The role focuses on reducing downtime and keeping production lines at maximum efficiency, with supervision of predictive and preventive maintenance, scheduling, and KPI reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong background in ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler systems, and PLC/instrumentation, plus supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of maintenance systems and scheduling software.
• Experience acting as a lead by coaching/mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams of Maintenance Mechanics & Electricians in predictive & preventative maintenance and machine repair.
• Develops and maintains KPIs for maintenance performance (supplier/contractor performance, equipment reliability, OEE).
• Provides long term solutions and day-to-day support to operating teams for troubleshooting and equipment failures.
• Trains employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
• Maintains records of maintenance work and inventory.
• Distributes work orders and plans emergency work as required.
• Ensures resources have correct skill levels for jobs.
