Job summary

chg is seeking an Maintenance Supervisor to direct maintenance crews in installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of plant equipment across mechanical, electrical, and process systems. This role emphasizes reducing downtime, ensuring safe, efficient production, and maintaining detailed maintenance records.

The ideal candidate will lead teams through predictive maintenance, manage work orders, develop KPIs, and coordinate with Production for timely repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading training or mentoring staff or managing a process or project.

Responsibilities

• Leads maintenance mechanics and electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance and machine repair.
• Develops and maintains maintenance systems, processes and documentation (PM, TPM, SOPs, Safety).
• Schedules maintenance with Production to minimize downtime and coordinate repairs.
• Develops KPIs to track maintenance performance (equipment reliability, OEE, etc.).
• Provides long-term and day-to-day support to operating teams for troubleshooting and failures.
• Trains staff on proper work methods and safety procedures.
• Maintains records of maintenance work and inventory; reports status to management.
• Reviews planned job packages for labor, materials, permits and priorities.
