Cannon Jeffries Search Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a contract food manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, MI. You will lead the 2nd-shift maintenance team across 12 production lines, overseeing roughly 15 technicians and team leads to ensure smooth daily operations and strong uptime.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, strong electrical troubleshooting skills up to 480V, and a solid commitment to safety, GMP, and 5S.

Qualifications

About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the second-shift maintenance operations across a high-volume manufacturing facility operating 12 production lines. This position oversees a dedicated team of approximately 15 technicians and leads, ensuring smooth daily operations, workflow management, and technical support. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, electrical troubleshooting expertise, and a commitment to maintaining safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and oversee 2nd-shift maintenance technicians and team leads.
• Manage daily maintenance workflows, shift scheduling, staffing, and team coverage.
• Perform leadership duties including performance evaluations and addressing HR-related issues.
• Ensure production continuity through hands‑on assistance and electrical troubleshooting up to 480V.
• Enforce 5S methodology, safety protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all lines.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve equipment issues and maintain plant output.
