Job summary

Arcan Capital, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and perform maintenance across our community. The role focuses on interior/exterior upkeep, ensuring safety, quality move-in experiences, and superior resident service.

The ideal candidate will manage maintenance staff, respond to service requests promptly, and oversee preventative maintenance while respecting housing laws and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
• HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Market Ready apartments with painting, cleaning and repairs.
• Perform routine interior/exterior maintenance incl. snow removal and gutter cleaning.
• Repair community equipment: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and mechanical.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude.
• Recruit, train, supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with the Property Manager.
• Handle on-call emergency procedures as required.
• Report maintenance issues affecting budget or safety to the manager.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and maintain records.
• Comply with state/local/federal housing laws and safety rules.
• Attend required meetings and training sessions.
