Job summary

Renewing Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team for a 100–300 unit apartment community. You will supervise 1–5 associates, ensure safety, quality, and quick response times, and coordinate with the Property Manager on staffing and turnovers.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong mechanical skills, the ability to plan preventive maintenance, and experience with trades coordination. This is a full-time on-site position at a Indiana property.

Qualifications

• On-call availability nights and weekends required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for appliance repair, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Effective communication with residents, staff and vendors.
• Proven ability to lead and direct a team.
• Ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations for 100–300 unit property.
• Lead a maintenance team of 1–5 associates with safety and quality in mind.
• Ensure rapid response to emergency service requests (30 minutes).
• Manage work orders, turnovers, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and inspect work to ensure agreed scope is met.
• Recruit and interview potential team members in coordination with the Property Manager.
• Maintain inventory and order materials for efficient property operation.
• Adhere to EPA regulations and enforce safety protocols.
