Job summary

RIMA Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team on the manufacturing floor. This hands-on role combines technical repair work with leadership responsibilities, overseeing maintenance and setup personnel and ensuring equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate will perform troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical issues, read blueprints, develop preventive maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvements while prioritizing safety and quality on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability and willingness to actively perform maintenance and repair work alongside the team.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, skilled trades, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand manufacturing gaging and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs: troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
• Lead by example: work alongside maintenance and setup personnel while providing technical guidance and support.
• Keep production running: respond to equipment issues, troubleshoot breakdowns, minimize downtime.
• Manage preventive maintenance: develop, implement, and maintain maintenance programs and schedules.
• Oversee equipment setups: ensure machine setups are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Improve equipment performance: identify and implement equipment modifications and process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Support engineering and production: collaborate on machine design and production projects.
• Develop your team: train, coach, and support maintenance personnel.
• Maintain equipment and parts records: oversee spare parts inventory and maintenance documentation.
• Promote workplace safety: ensure safe work practices and 5S adherence.
