Job summary

WITRON in Newport, MI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities, guide electromechanical technicians, and partner with Production and onsite IT to maximize system up-time.

Responsibilities include preventive and unscheduled maintenance, training programs, escalation handling, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet production goals while ensuring safety and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1-3 years in a maintenance supervisory role.
• Associates degree with 3-5 years in a similar setting preferred.
• Experience with automated material handling systems and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities and ensure up-time.
• Provide direct instruction to technicians and coordinate with teams.
• Coordinate with Production, Onsite IT and partners.
• Execute preventive and unscheduled maintenance under supervision.
• Develop training and assessment programs for staff.
• Handle escalation during downtime and drive continuous improvement.
• Schedule shifts and daily work assignments.
• Analyze system performance and drive improvements.
