Job summary

Pilgrim’s is a leading global food company seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead and coordinate maintenance across the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and supervising maintenance team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The maintenance team supports production and facilities by ensuring equipment uptime, safe operations, and efficient maintenance execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of directly related maintenance supervision experience; poultry/food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems; plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team members performing repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, buildings, and utility systems.
• Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to support equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in resolving problems.
• Coordinate procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies.
