Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our food & beverage manufacturing operations in Lenoir City, TN. The role leads a hands-on maintenance team, supports production equipment and facility systems, and drives reliability improvements.

You will establish preventive maintenance, support CMMS implementation, and coordinate with Engineering on capital projects while ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance. This is an on-site, permanent position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive industrial maintenance experience.
• Previous maintenance leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of LOTO, health and safety practices, and GMP/HACCP/SQF.
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance employees and coordinate equipment repairs, installations, and facility upkeep.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated packaging equipment.
• Build preventive maintenance schedules and improve work order and spare-parts processes.
• Help establish maintenance tracking in Excel and support development of a future CMMS.
• Support installation of new production equipment and work with engineering on capital projects.
• Lead downtime reviews and identify ways to improve reliability and reduce production interruptions.
• Manage maintenance labor, overtime, parts purchasing, and spending with the Operations Manager.
• Make safety a daily priority, especially lockout/tagout (LOTO), training, and safe work practices.
• Partner with production and quality teams to support food safety, sanitation, and continuous improvement.
