State of Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Plainfield Correctional Facility. You will oversee Foremen and Technicians, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant maintenance operations while following priorities set by the Physical Plant Director.

The role requires a CDL, strong trades knowledge, and supervisory experience. Travel may be required; a HS diploma with relevant maintenance experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• HS diploma or equivalent with 2 years in maintenance or related field and 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read plans, blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to travel with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Plan work schedules based on priorities and deadlines.
• Identify resource needs and allocate resources accordingly.
• Develop and implement maintenance and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory rules.
• Administer budget line items for maintenance and repair.
• Supervise and train staff, including incarcerated individuals as applicable.
