Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience (supervisory or lead role) required, with proven ability to lead teams and drive results.
• Experience in the wood products industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance team members.
• Plan and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose equipment failures and oversee timely repairs.
• Manage spare parts inventory and critical components.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Communicate effectively with operations and leadership teams.
• Monitor equipment performance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Analyze root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain KPIs and support data-driven decisions.
• Lead projects to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
• Support safety, health, and environmental initiatives within the maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance documentation.
• Support plant operations with additional responsibilities as needed.
