Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in McComb, MS seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across log yard, sawmill and related operations. You will ensure safe work practices, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, and coordinate with production to maximize uptime and quality.

The role requires strong leadership, troubleshooting and communication skills and a proven track record in industrial settings. You will mentor and develop staff, manage maintenance processes in SAP, and support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred with strong leadership experience in industrial manufacturing.
Experience leading maintenance teams in wood products or lumber is preferred.
Proven track record improving safety, productivity and cost with engineering solutions.
Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and preventive/predictive maintenance expertise.
Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication; ability to coach and mentor.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop and lead the maintenance team; provide effective leadership.
Prioritize safety and lead safety meetings and initiatives.
Utilize preventive/predictive maintenance to improve reliability and uptime.
Resolve personnel issues, foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
Lead maintenance system processes and SAP-based work orders and records.
Coordinate with production and other shifts to maximize productivity and quality.
