Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Manager of Facilities and Service (Maintenance Supervisor) at Elux at McQueen in Chandler, AZ. You will lead a team of Service Technicians, oversee hands-on maintenance, and ensure the community operates smoothly.

The role requires 2+ years of multifamily maintenance supervisory experience, strong HVAC and electrical knowledge, and a commitment to high standards and customer service.

Compensation:

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $31.00/hr - $32.00/hr
• All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
• Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications.***

Requirements

• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance supervisory experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, pool maintenance, and general apartment maintenance.
• Ability to effectively resolve resident maintenance needs while providing a high level of customer service.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with team members, residents, and vendors.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the community at high standards on a daily basis.
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to address maintenance issues efficiently.
• Ability to manage work orders, preventative maintenance, turns, and daily maintenance priorities.
• Basic computer skills with experience using maintenance or property management software preferred.
• EPA, HVAC, CPO, or other industry-specific certifications preferred.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will:

• Serve as the leader for the team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers.
• Oversee and execute the hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
• Perform consistent inspections, diagnosing problems, and making necessary repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, dry walling, appliances, and exterior structures.
• Manage the daily inventory of apartment homes in order to support leasing efforts, including managing the Make-Ready, Turn Board.
• Schedule contractors and vendors as needed.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazards.
• Share rotating on-call duty with service team members and readily available to go the property after hours if needed and in uniform/badge.
• Complete Weekly Service Report in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Mark-Taylor safety protocols, programs, policies and procedures.
• Participate in training classes.
• Train and mentor Service Technician and Facilities Technicians.
• Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections, inventories, pool chemical logs, make-ready and turn units.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive rapport with all residents and team members.
• Capital project oversight, bidding, and execution.
