Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to deliver on our commitments to residents, ensuring quality move-in, timely service, superb curb appeal, and personal attention to residents and homes.

The role partners with the Community Manager to supervise staff and vendors, uphold safety standards, and manage maintenance priorities while fostering a strong sense of community across our properties.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry expertise; HVAC/CPO certifications desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Availability for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service by treating residents with respect and assigning work orders efficiently.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to work orders and management requests.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program and oversee maintenance staff.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff under Community Manager.
