Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology – Columbus, NE seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for repairing and maintaining production equipment. You will supervise technicians, troubleshoot electronic controls, PLC logic, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical devices, and maintain PM schedules and spare parts inventory.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of supervisory experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or maintenance environments.
• Strong troubleshooting of electronic controls, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Proficiency with basic office software (Excel, Word); strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Technicians in production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of production and engineering equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and PM schedules; track equipment utilization.
• Interface with Facility Maintenance Group and assist as needed.
• Direct the training of Technicians.
