Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Washington, PA facility. This on-site role leads maintenance teams, drives preventive/predictive maintenance, and partners with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.

The role requires leading maintenance technicians, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring safety compliance w/ lockout/tagout and electrical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position and relocation is not offered; applicants must reside within 50 miles of Washington, PA.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Establish priorities and assign work to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Apply cost containment principles when purchasing goods and services.
• Interface with other departments and contractors to ensure day-to-day project completion.
• Support site safety initiatives and serve as a champion of site safety programs.
• Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and machine guarding requirements.
• Drive TPM initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Root Cause Analysis methodologies to reduce downtime and waste.
• Coordinate equipment installations, modifications and facility improvements.
