Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Washington, PA site. This onsite role will lead maintenance activities across production equipment and facility systems and support safety, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will supervise maintenance technicians, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, and partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain to improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Drive TPM initiatives to reduce downtime and improve OEE and equipment reliability.

Relocation is not provided.Washington, PA is the home of the Eaton Crouse-Hinds commercial outlet box facility which manufactures steel boxes, covers, and prefabricated electrical assemblies. Manufacturing 1.3 million units per week, this highly automated and fast paced environment places a high value on talented professionals that are focus on problem solving and efficiency.The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production equipment and facility systems at the site. This position provides leadership to maintenance technicians, drives preventive and predictive maintenance programs, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and partners with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain teams to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and overall plant performance.In this role you will:Directly supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate daily maintenance activitiesEstablish priorities and assign work to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasksMonitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliabilityApply cost containment principals when purchasing goods and services.Interface with other departments and contractors to ensure day-to-day project completionSupport site safety initiatives and serve as a champion of site safety programsEnsure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and machine guarding requirementsSupport, assist and participate in Kaizen events focused on improving safety, equipment reliability, throughput, quality, and labor efficiency.Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)Utilize Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Root Cause Analysis methodologies to reduce downtime and wasteCoordinate equipment installations, modifications and facility improvementsPerform other related functions as required to achieve department and site objectivesQualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
