Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to keep our conveyors, sortation equipment, ammonia systems, and building infrastructure running at peak efficiency.

You’ll lead a team of technicians, manage budgets, source parts, and ensure safety and compliance while applying strong maintenance knowledge, PLC basics, and schematics reading. A 4-year degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree or equivalent professional training and experience in industrial maintenance.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and accountability.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, ammonia, energy management, MHE and conveyor systems.
• Proficient with Windows and maintenance database programs; Maintenance Connection experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, high/low voltage systems, and computer controlled automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets for building, repair, maintenance, supplies, third-party support and spare parts inventory.
• Maintain on-hand inventory for the sortation system and monitor expenses.
• Obtain quotes and build strong vendor relationships to ensure best costs.
• Utilize maintenance software to optimize asset utilization and preventative maintenance.
• Supervise daily activities of technicians and coordinate staffing and training.
• Ensure safety processes and regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
