Ocean Spray is hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor, Days! We’re a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. We are a farmer-owned co-op where everyone contributes to getting the job done. Started by three maverick farmers, we’ve been forging our own path ever since.

Ocean Spray Cranberries is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor, Nights to join our Plant team! The day shift supervisor position involves a 12-hour rotating shift from 6am to 6pm with rotating weekends off.

In this role, you will manage plant maintenance, ensuring timely and productive maintenance of equipment and systems to maximize production time. You will direct maintenance staff by assigning work, monitoring progress, and inspecting repairs. You will also assist in budget planning for maintenance and capital projects, and promote plant FSQA initiatives.

A Day in the Life...

  1. Direct, coordinate, and facilitate daily activities of a skilled team to ensure maintenance (preventative and corrective) is completed safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
  2. Maintain standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance. Use cost-effective technology to maximize production. Preserve fixed assets and recommend purchases of new equipment.
  3. Assist in developing and monitoring the maintenance budget, report on operating costs, and recommend solutions for cost and labor overruns.
  4. Work with plant managers to foster positive employee relations. Advise management on labor issues, safety, security, training, and grievances. Ensure policies are followed fairly.
  5. Collaborate with Human Resources to hire, train, develop, and appraise staff. Take corrective actions as needed.
  6. Work with EHS to ensure environmental compliance. Influence staff to report food safety issues for immediate corrective action.

What We Are Looking For:

  • BS/BA in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and leadership ability.
  • Effective interaction with all organizational levels.

Education: Bachelor's or University Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience: Minimum 3 Years
