Hourly base pay rate is $31.30 - $46.97/hour. The hourly rate may vary based on location, experience, and skills. Position may include additional compensation such as commissions or incentives.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Fleet Services is a leading provider of mobile fleet maintenance and repair services nationwide, supporting light to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. We operate over 50 service centers and provide 24/7 support for scheduled and unscheduled fleet maintenance.

Position Overview:

The Mobile Diesel Technician Level II performs licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics. Under supervision, they perform more advanced diagnostics and repairs, continually enhancing their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various vehicles.
  • Conduct minor repairs on truck systems including electrical, brakes, cooling, and engines.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions using test instruments and road testing.
  • Manage parts inventory and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess necessary hand tools.
  • Obtain ASE T8 certification within 18 months.
  • Pass DOT physical and background check; valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Certifications:

  • ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, 608/609 certifications.
