Ocean Spray is hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor, Days!

We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. As a farmer-owned co-op, everyone contributes to getting the job done. Founded by three maverick farmers, we've been making our own way ever since.

Ocean Spray Cranberries is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor, Nights, to join our Plant team! The role involves managing plant maintenance on a 12-hour rotating shift from 6am to 6pm with rotating weekends off.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing plant maintenance to maximize production time
• Directing maintenance staff and monitoring work progress
• Assisting in budget planning for maintenance and capital projects
• Promoting plant FSQA initiatives

A Day in the Life...

• Coordinate daily activities of maintenance team to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks
• Maintain standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance; recommend new equipment purchases
• Assist in developing and monitoring maintenance budgets; report on operating costs
• Work with plant managers to foster positive employee relations and address labor issues
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff; take corrective actions when necessary
• Ensure environmental compliance with EHS standards
• Encourage reporting of food safety issues for immediate corrective actions

What We Are Looking For:

• BS/BA in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or related experience
• At least 3 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of manufacturing operations
• Leadership and teamwork abilities
• Effective interaction across organizational levels
• Facilitation and training skills

Education: Bachelor's or University Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience: Minimum 3 Years
