Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department on a 8-hour day shift. You will supervise staff, ensure work orders are completed, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

The role includes on-call rotation, interviewing and training new hires, and coordinating preventive maintenance to maintain facilities across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Seven years of experience in building systems preferred.
• Supervisory experience desired.
• Valid driver license may be required and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure work orders are completed.
• Maintain all mechanical spaces in a clean, organized condition.
• Lead and coordinate with leadership on office procedures, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
• Evaluate and supervise building and equipment repairs.
• Approve time off requests and manage timecards.
• Maintain staffing levels and on-call rotation.
• Hire and train new employees.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and health policies.
