The role emphasizes hands-on welding techniques, precision maintenance, and development of long-term maintenance strategies. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in a high-stakes industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, cement industry preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication; ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety standards and PPE compliance.
• Ability to develop maintenance strategies and manage parts inventory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance to maximize equipment availability and minimize costs.
• Perform systematic inspections and analyze data to issue detailed work orders.
• Lead problem-solving tasks and implement improvements for reliability and safety.
• Direct contractors and work with maintenance/purchasing teams on purchases and vendor interactions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and finish projects on schedule.
