Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Volta On Pine in Long Beach, CA. You will oversee and perform technical and mechanical work, manage make-ready tasks, and ensure community standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance. Experience with Yardi, Happy Co, and HVAC certifications is highly valued.

Responsibilities include leading work orders, supervising vendors, maintaining inventory, and assisting budgeting for repairs and CAPEX projects while upholding Greystar safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; know how to safely use them.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, team members and management.
• Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and databases; PM software experience preferred.
• EPA HVAC certifications and state/local certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders from residents and perform routine maintenance.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and schedule vendors.
• Inspect grounds, exteriors, interiors and common areas to meet Greystar standards.
• Supervise safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance and MSDS availability.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Maintain inventory and manage tools within budgetary guidelines.
