Job summary

Cirrus Asset Management is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff, oversee community upkeep, and manage budgets and tools. You will hire external professionals, maintain building systems, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires overseeing preventive maintenance and developing job plans, with an 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, on-site at Taiko Village / Vista Paradiso, in California. Competitive compensation plus benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for 2 years is required.
• Certifications in HVAC or CMRP are a plus.
• Strong maintenance process knowledge and methodical approach.

Job Description

• Inspect and oversee communityto resolve problems
• Perform a variety of maintenance activities as needed- make readies, work orders etc.
• Develop and maintain a planning and scheduling routine and preventive maintenance of equipment, prioritizing and estimating work and technical assistance when developing job plans
• Manage, motivate, develop and provide direct leadership to maintenance staff
• Hire and oversee outside professionals such as electricians, plumbers etc.
• Inspect and maintain building systems such as heating, electrical, air conditioning, ventilation etc.
• Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment so as to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment
• Keep in check and regulate budget and track maintenance expenditures
• Regularly check and inspect the material and tools inventory and place order when needed
• Assist with the implementation of capital projects
• Approving maintenance strategy including monthly reporting and KPI validation
• Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety rules, guidelines and regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Assistant Maintenance Supervisorfor (2) year(s) - Required
• Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage (HVAC, CMRP etc.)
• In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Problem solving aptitude
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• High school diploma

Additional Information

Taiko Village / Vista Paradiso / 4250 Coldwater (106)

Hourly: $31-$32 per hour

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Must be available for on-call after hour emergency maintenance, which will be shared with maintenance technician.
