Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of two years general maintenance experience in an institutional setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance duties and repairs on the facility and equipment.
• Maintain and repair heating and cooling units, ventilation equipment, and refrigeration units.
• Make periodic rounds to check equipment and ensure availability of needed tools.
• Maintain records of repair work on equipment.
• Notify supervisor of equipment and supply needs.
• Assist residents with move in/out.
• Conduct surveillance of property as needed.
• Submit written and verbal reports to the Director of Maintenance regarding operations.
• Perform other duties and special projects as directed by supervisor.
