Job summary

New South Express (NSE) – Honda Logistics of North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (4:00 PM–12:30 AM) at Lincoln, AL. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC, and read blueprints and schematics.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, transportation, or facilities environment preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Experience with 240V/480V electrical systems preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC equipment, controls, and related components.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain facility infrastructure, machinery, and support equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform trailer repairs including lighting, doors, hinges, roofs, and structural components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Complete welding, cutting, fabrication, and general maintenance projects as needed.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate work orders, repair documentation, and maintenance records.
• Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and OSHA requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with facility projects as assigned.
