This position is part of Tyson Foods' Prepared Foods Division, responsible for overseeing plant maintenance, leading technicians, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate maintenance technicians.
• Assist in developing maintenance policies and procedures.
• Manage preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Assess issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with SQF Quality Management policies and GMP practices.

Requirements

• Leadership skills in managing maintenance teams, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC issues.
• Promote a safety-first culture and develop preventive maintenance programs.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance leadership roles with direct reports.
• Associate’s degree or relevant experience; hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Basic PLC experience; knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP is a plus.

Additional Details

• Shift: 2nd shift, typically from 2:30 pm to around 11:00 pm.
• Availability for weekend work as needed.
• No relocation assistance.
