Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Juneau facility (24/7 operation) to supervise maintenance technicians and electricians. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance work, with emphasis on reliability improvements and collaboration with engineering to meet safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in maintenance management and hands-on experience in automation, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and ladder logic, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant maintenance management/supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance, operations, or engineering experience with root cause analysis.
• Experience with troubleshooting, automation, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, hard wiring and ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and electricians to complete maintenance work effectively and efficiently in the facility.
• Plan and schedule daily maintenance work (PMs, work orders, etc.).
• Oversee contractors/projects in conjunction with engineering team.
• Oversee and manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget to ensure the right materials are available when needed and spending falls within budget.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability through strong preventative maintenance practices, SOPs, and training of maintenance technicians/operators.
• Collaborate with other departments to create a culture that aligns with our food quality and employee safety standards.
