Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to support technicians and the Maintenance Supervisor in a 5‑day onsite operation. You will review work orders in AMMS, manage spare parts and inventories, forecast maintenance needs, and collaborate with project managers to deliver timely capital projects and reliable uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing with planning, purchasing, scheduling or accounting.
• Proficient with JDE, AMMS, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of plant equipment (pumps, motors, instrumentation).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and set priorities.
• Willingness to learn and grow as a functional expert.
• Strong documentation, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise utilisation and minimise downtime.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Ensure spare parts are available within short lead times at competitive prices.
• Own maintenance inventory levels and forecast maintenance work.
• Own AMMS for work orders and preventive maintenance processes with equipment records.
• Own purchasing for maintenance activities and supplies.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to allocate maintenance crafts for new assets and capital projects.
• Develop, train and supervise maintenance technicians in a 24/7 operation.
• Report maintenance activities and budgets to plant leadership.
