Job summary

Sensient Technologies seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for our Juneau, WI facility, supervising maintenance technicians in a 24/7 operation. The role focuses on planning PMs, directing maintenance work, and coordinating with engineering, safety, and quality teams to keep equipment reliable and compliant.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on maintenance experience, PLC/HMI/VFD expertise, and strong analytical skills to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance management/supervisory experience.
• 5+ years hands-on maintenance, operations, or engineering experience with root cause analysis.
• Strong experience with troubleshooting, automation, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, hard wire and ladder logic controls.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical and prioritization skills.
• Experience using computer maintenance software.
• Experience dealing with pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, ammonia, HVAC, or drying systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and electricians to complete maintenance work effectively and efficiently in the facility.
• Plan and schedule daily maintenance work (PMs, work orders, etc.).
• Oversee contractors/projects with the engineering team.
• Oversee and manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget to ensure materials availability and budget adherence.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability through preventative maintenance, SOPs, and training.
• Collaborate with other departments to uphold food quality and employee safety standards.

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and direct maintenance technicians in our Juneau facility (24/7 operation). The facility produces spray dried yeast used in the food and BioNutrient industries.

What you’ll do

• Lead, schedule, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and electricians to complete maintenance work effectively and efficiently in the facility.
• Plan and schedule daily maintenance work (PMs, work orders, etc.).
• Oversee contractors/projects in conjunction with engineering team.
• Oversee and manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget to ensure the right materials are available when needed and spending falls within budget.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability through strong preventative maintenance practices, SOPs, and training of maintenance technicians/operators.
• Collaborate with other departments to create a culture that aligns with our food quality and employee safety standards.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of relevant maintenance management/supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance, operations, or engineering experience. Ability to complete root cause analysis.
• Strong experience with troubleshooting, automation, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, hard wire and ladder logic controls.
